Tour our practice

When you arrive at the top of Brunswick Square look for house number 2 Brunswick Place, and we are on the ground floor, 3 steps up from the pavement.

There is a swing sign on the pavement outside and our name is in the window and on the brass signs outside the front door.

Walk into the foyer of the building and press either buzzer on your right next to the surgery front door on your right. Access is by remote release so when the door buzzes, push the door open and come inside. Turn left.

Walk down the hallway up the slight slope to the reception area.

You will be greeted by Carrie or Sharon at the reception desk. You will be asked to fill in some forms at your first visit.
Once you have filled in the forms, you will be met by one of the dentists or the dental hygienist. Who will escort you to one of the two surgeries.
The dentist will go through the process of introducing you to the practice, listen to your needs, and discuss how we can proceed to treatment together. They will then initiate the assessment process to find out how we can best help you. We will need to do an examination of your head and neck and look inside your mouth to check the condition of your teeth, gums, tongue and cheeks. X- rays may be taken to help the dentist work out what treatment you may require.

Once this has been carried out we will discuss with you what the choices of treatment are, and how we can work together to meet these agreed goals.

We want you to be happy with your treatment, before, during and after, so we need to work with you, as a team, to make this a good experience for all of us. Once the appointment is completed, you will go back to the reception area, where you will be able to make your next appointment and complete any other arrangements needed.

We treat our patients openly and honestly and we like you to feel at ease, and able to ask all the questions you want and to express honestly how you are feeling and what your needs are.

We cannot help you if you do not tell us there is a problem. We can offer you various methods of coping with being at the dentist from types of dissociation and visualisation techniques, to watching DVDs on our eye-line glasses. Other forms of treatment for anxieties and fears are available as well.
